A COLLECTION OF GOOD WORDS
愿景
Vision
Throughout the centuries there were men who took first steps, down new roads, armed with nothing but their own vision.
I had ambition not only to go farther than any man had ever been before, but as far as it was possible for a man to go.
What you do once you're beyond the confines of your local lift service can be as limitless as the mountains themselves.
When divine vision is attained, all appear equal; and there remains no distinction of good and bad, or of high and low.
Each work has its own space, which should neither be conceived as a sort of cage nor regarded as extending to infinity.
Your vision will become clear only when you look into your heart. Who looks outside, dreams. Who looks inside, awakens.
As all Art depends on Vision, so the different kinds of Art depend on the different ways in which minds look at things.
If you are working on something exciting that you really care about, you don't have to be pushed. The vision pulls you.
Mirrors are perpetually deceitful. They lie and steal your true self. They reveal only what your mind believes it sees.
It's like driving a car at night. You never see further than your headlights, but you can make the whole trip that way.
A vision is not just a picture of what could be; it is an appeal to our better selves, a call to become something more.
It's only when you learn, live and give sincere service that you can experience life's deepest fulfillment and true joy.
KEEP EXPLORING
The life of a man consists not in seeing visions and in dreaming dreams, but in active charity and in willing service.
One's destination is never a place, but rather a new way of looking at things.
Imagination doesn't always mean looking outside of the box, but taking a closed box and seeing a different world from within it.
Wisdom denotes the pursuing of the best ends by the best means.
Let us fix our attention out of ourselves as much as possible; let us chase our imagination to the heavens, or to the utmost limits of the universe; we never really advance a step beyond ourselves, nor can conceive any kind of existence, but those perceptions, which have appeared in that narrow compass.
What inspires me most are people who imagine and implement solutions to challenges in their own lives, in their communities, in our country and around the world.
